Ilorin Emirate For Unity and Development Initiative (IEUDI) has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gamabari and the Executive Governor of the state Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq over the commencement of the 1441 AH Ramadan.

The IEUDI also felicitated with all traditional title holders as well as other notable figures in the Emirate for witnessing this year Ramadan and prayed Allah to continue to lead them through as they pilot the affairs of the Emirate in various capacities.
The union, in a statement issued and signed by its Secretary-General, AbdulSalam AbdulRauph, also urged Muslim faithfuls to seize the great opportunity ushered in by Ramadan to collectively and individually pray for the total eradication of the coronavirus pandemic across the globe.
The statement equally rejoiced with sons and daughters of the Emirate and entire Muslim Ummah all over the world with an advice to use the opportunity of the sacred month to seek Allha’s favour, forgiveness and peaceful coexistence.
It prayed Allah to accept all our prayers and reward our efforts before, during and after the holy month of Ramadan.
“Oh Allah, the sustenance, the one that opens the doors of success and grant it. The only we have faith in to wipe off our tears and sorrows. With the blessing and favour embedded in this holy month. Protect us and our loved ones from all evils. Grant us blessing, favour and honour. Ease our pains, worries and sorrows. Let our hope, dreams and wishes be fulfilled” the statement read in part.
The union therefore prayed Allah to wipe out the Coronavirus pandemic from the land, fill our hearts with joy, forgive our sins, accept our Ibaddah and move Ilorin Emirate to the higher level of our desire.
