Kwara United salutes Grand Patron at 80

Kwara United Football Club has congratulated its Grand Patron, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin, who clocks 80 years on Wednesday.

In a message by the Club through its Media Team, they described the Chairman of the Traditional Council in the state as a true symbol of unity.

 ‘On behalf of the management, playing and non-playing staff, Supporters and Fans of Kwara United, we send you special greetings, and also congratulate you on your 80th birthday anniversary’, the statement read in part.

‘We rejoice with you, we celebrate you because we know the impact of your support to our darling club. You are indeed, a strong pillar for the club’.

The statement further described the Emir as a strong pillar for the club, as its Grand Patron.

While describing his reign as peaceful and progressive, the club prayed Almighty Allah to continue bless him with more fruitful and progressive years in Ilorin and Kwara state as a whole.

They also wished the Emir long life, prosperity in an excellent health and wealth.

‘Once again, on behalf of the entire Kwara United Football Club, we wish Mai Martaba more fulfilling and healthy years on the throne of his fore fathers’.
