Work for the progress of your community, Olofa charges Nigerians
The Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye the second has called on Nigerians to collectively work and contribute their quotas to the progress of their community and the Nation at large.
Oba Esuwoye made the call yesterday in his palace at Offa while receiving Offa Grammar School, Old Students’ Association 1979 set who paid him homage as part of activities marking their 40th year anniversary and reunion.
The Olofa of Offa emphasised the need to always give back to the society commending the 1979 set for remembering their background and past with the desire to give to their alma mata.
The First Class Traditional Ruler implored the people to always pray for those in leadership positions to succeed.
He commended 1979 set for their bold steps to develop Offa Grammar School advising them to be plain, be good ambassadors of the School and work for the progress and development of their members.
Oba Esuwoye urged them to always thank God and do good at all times.
Speaking on behalf of the set that included the State Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi, the spokesman, Doctor Hassan Kalejaiye said the reunion was organised to show appreciation and also contribute their quota to the development of the School with the Commissioning of some projects and awards to deserving personalities among others.
The Old Students’ had earlier went round the School premises.
