CoNS to host 2nd annual Congress July 12

All arrangements have been concluded by Congress of National Open University of Nigeria Students (CoNS) to organise her 2nd annual Congress coming up in Oshogbo, Osun State between 12th and 14th of July 2019.

The three day programme will kick start with press briefing on Friday, July 12th and followed by Games Night while the second day, which is13th of July will feature Congress, and elections to usher in new executives of the union to be followed by Dinner & Award Night ceremony while the last day, 14th of July is the departure day.

The Congress is sponsored and proudly supported by National Association of University Students (NAUS) and National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS)

The programme will feature the NPM Governorship candidate in 2019 election in Kwara state, Mallam Abdulazeez Yinka Oniyangi as one of guest speakers on the occasion.

The theme for this year edition of the Congress is “Open and Distance Learning: A Tool for Tackling Insecurity” as selected renowned educationists and distinguished personalities across the country are going to be the resource persons.

Other distinguished Nigerian student leaders that will eminently grace the occasion with their presence include the incubent CONS President, Comrade Adewoyin Tijani Adekola, the pioneer President of CONS Comrade Abdulrazaq .O Hamzat, the NANPresident Comerade Bamidele Danielson Akpan and the NAUS Senate President Comrade Falola Olasunkanmi Stainless.

The event promises to be very insightful, inspiring and educative.
