Hope Spring Water Charity Marks World Social Justice Day

To mark the 2019 world social justice and inequality day, Hope Spring Water Charity, Nigeria, will hold an advocacy and sensitisation event on Wednesday, 20th of February, 2019, to commemorate the day.

The  programme, according to the Chairman of the organising committee, Mr. Mubarak Oladosu, is scheduled to hold at a public school; Jalala Junior Secondary School, located at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.

The event is aimed at drawing attention of participants and the global community to social inequality issues surrounding water, sanitation and hygiene in Nigeria and in the host public school.

According to the organisers, the event will be chaired by the Focal Officer of the Regional Center of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development in Nigeria and Professor of Environmental Microbiology at the University of Ilorin, Professor Albert Olayemi, while an advocate and solicitor at the Supreme Court of Nigeria who heads the Academic Support Services Unit at the University of Ilorin, Mr. Monsur Alfanla, is the special guest at the occasion.

Speakers at the event include an expert in Development Communication and Brand Ambassador of National University of Science and Technology, Russian Federation, to Africa, Mr. Jamiu Mustapha.

Stakeholders and members of the public are cordially invited to the event which kicks off at 10:45 am.
