Group of young entrepreneures in kwara State have commended Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for showing great interest in youth development and empowernment through the encouragement of young entrepreneurs in the state.
The group described the recent Youth Reinvention Programme being organised by the state government as a great encouragement for the young gifted entrepreneures to showcase their skills and talents to the whole world.
The spokesperson of the entrepreneurs, Mr. Hanafi Olanrewaju Rabiu of Coin Consults, gave kudos to the Kwara state government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for organizing such a great ‘Youth Reinvention Programme’ which he said has provided ample opportunity for the youth entrepreneurs to showcase their economic and moral contributions to the public.
Rabiu explained that the exhibition afforded young entrepreneures rare opportunity to showcase their economic and moral contributions to the development of the state.
The group, however, urged the state government to encourage these young entrepreneurs and make them model for other youth by supporting them with grants in order to solve their major challenge which is low business capital.
It would be recalled that Kwara state government through the office of the SSA to Governor on Youth Empowerment celebrated the International Youth Day on 12th of August, 2018, tagged “Kwara Youth Reinvention Programme”.
During this programme, youth entrepreneurs with great products and services were selected to exhibit their products.
The young entrepreneurs exhibited products such as shoes, organic soap, ponmo, ori (shea butter) cream, rice, beans, pap, Aso-oke wears, zobo drink, livestock organic drink, etc. Every participant at the exhibition including Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed was very impressed with the courage and innovativeness of the young entrepreneurs.
The Governor, who was also moved with the brilliant performance of these young talented kwarans, lauded their ebtrepreneirial skills and pledged to assist them anytime the need arises.
A month after the programme, the Young Entrepreneurs came together to appreciate the Governor for his kind words and to remind him of the promise he made to assist their businesses.
