A decade of peaceful reign: KWASU rejoices with Emir of Ilesha-Baruba

The Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, has congratulated the Emir of Ilesha-Baruba, His Royal Highness, Professor Halidu Abubakar Derekureku Kabawuko IV on his 10th coronation anniversary.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Vice Chancellor and signed by the Director of University Relations, Dr Saeedat Aliyu, anipr.

Professor Jimoh described the reign of Professor Abubakar in Ilesha-Baruba as peaceful, progressive, and one which has fostered growth in his domain and beyond, encouraging development within the Baruten local government area.

The Vice-Chancellor noted that the traditional ruler had contributed significantly to the completion of the KWASU Ilesha-Baruba campus through his welcoming and peaceful rulership, always welcoming KWASU officials in his palace.

Professor Jimoh, who also congratulated all the sons and daughters of Ilesha-Baruba on the milestone anniversary, prayed Allah to grant the Emir of Ilesha-Baruba more grace to lead that community to greater peace, unity, and development.
