The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Kwara state chapter, has been conferred with the best award with the highest number of participants at the just concluded 2nd Nigeria Spokespersons Summit organised by the institute held at Ladi Kwali Hall, Continental Hotel, Abuja between 14th and 17th of Aprill, 2025.
The President of NIPR, Dr Ike Neliaku made the announcement on Wednesday in Abuja during the event, saying that the award was in recognition of the Kwara state chapter’s exceptional commitment to the growth and upliftment of the institute.
He said the leadership of the institute was impressed with the impressive participation of Public Relations Practitioners across the country and particularly commending the Kwara delegates for their exceptional participation.
The kwara team was led by the Kwara State Commissioner for Communications Hon. Bola Olukoju. Other participants include the Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Governor, Malam Rafiu Ajakaye, the Senior Advisor and Couselor to the Governor Alhaji Saadu Salahudeen, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Alhaji Bashir Adigun, NIPR Governing Council Member Professor Saudat Sallah Abdulbaqi and Personal Assistant the Vice Chancellor Kwara State University, Mallam Isiaka Babatunde.
Others are Kwara State chapter Chairman of NIPR Mr Gabriel Ogundade, Secretary Abdul Rahman Sanni, Abubakar Imam Deputy Director of the Corporate Affairs, University of Ilorin, Mrs Muinat Apampa of the Kwara State University, SSA New Media to Governor Hon. Yinka Fafoluyi;Mr Luqman Temitope Omoniyi, and Mr Segun Alabi both from University of Ilorin, Mrs Medinat Oladotun, Mrs Rashidat Daibu, Mr Enoch Opaleke of the Kwara Polytechnic, Mr Philip Adegbulugbe, SSA Communications to the Governor,Hon. Abdulateef Ibrahim and Mrs Rachael Solomon of the Michael Imodu National Institute of Labour Studies (MINILS).
