A Christian cleric and philanthropist, Pst Amos Oyetunji has charged the people not to discriminate against the physically challenged individuals in the society.

Pastor Oyetunji who is the General Evangelist of Onigege Ara International Ministry stated this at the annual convention of the ministry held at PJ Ladapo Memorial Baptist Church Ikirun on Saturday.

The cleric enjoined well meaning personalities on the country to contribute to the welfare of the physically challenged individuals around them.

At the convention where people with disabilities numbering over 300 were gathered, different items including foodstuffs, books, money and other useful materials were presented to the disabled people.

The disabled who were drawn from the School for the Handicapped in Ikirun and Osogbo returned home with different gifts.

Oyetunji said he was prompted to bless the physically challenged people through his ministry by the leading of the Holy Spirit and to send a message to the wealthy people in the society.

The chairman of the occasion, Town Planner Ezekiel Olaleye urged the people to serve humanity with all their God’s given resources.

He called on the people to be diligent and come up with new initiatives for their economic empowerment as the current situation in the country calls for diligent work.

He said the government alone cannot cater for the needs of the people, hence the need for the well to do individuals to assist those in need.
