In a significant move to support the initiatives of His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Alhaji Iliasu Ibrahim, the founder of Iliasu Ibrahim Foundation, has made the Iliasu Ibrahim Hub available for facilitating the registration of women-owned businesses for the Kwara NG-CARES for MSMEs Phase III.
This effort aims to ensure that women across Moro Local Government can easily access the operational support grant provided by the program.
The mobilization for this registration drive began yesterday and continues to gain momentum, with numerous women turning up to secure their chance at receiving financial support. This initiative aligns with the governor’s unwavering commitment to empower Nano, Micro, and Small-Scale Enterprises (MSMEs) throughout the state, fostering economic growth and sustainability.
The Kwara NG-CARES for MSMEs Phase III application portal is open for 14 days, from 12 a.m. on June 25, 2024, to July 8, 2024. This re-opening of the registration portal has been approved by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, who consistently demonstrates visionary leadership in championing initiatives that uplift the business community.
The Iliasu Ibrahim Hub provides a crucial service for women in Moro Local Government, offering a convenient and accessible location to complete their registration. This initiative ensures that women-owned businesses, vital to the local economy, do not miss out on this opportunity due to lack of access to technology or the internet.
Women business owners are encouraged to visit the Hub to register and upload all necessary evidence of their business existence. Required documentation includes a picture of the business taken with the owner, shop rent receipt, utility bill, evidence of payment of staff salary/payroll, and Business Registration Certificate.
