The National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ) in Kwara State, has appealed to the striking workers of the state owned media to call off their industrial action in the interest of the society and the people they serve.
The league made the appeal in a statement signed by its chairman, Alh Tunde Akanbi and the publicity secretary, Alh Abdullahi Olesin.
The association of retired and senior journalists equally implored the state government to look into the demand of the agrrieved media workers.
It urged both parties to engage in a round table dialogue to resolve the issues agitating the minds of the striking media workers.
