The Presiding Pastor, Royal Convenant Assembly, Rehoboth Christian Ministry International, Pastor (Dr) Bola Payimo has charged the churches to always emphasize the importance of Calvary in their preaches.
Pastor Payimo gave the charge at the end of the 2023 Annual Convention of the Church held in Ilorin the Capital of Kwara State.
The Cleric who expressed disatisfaction over the increasing rate of crimes in the society, attributed the vices to lack of fear of God among the people.
He also explained that failure of churches to preach Calvary also responsible for the crime and social vices in the society.
Payimo mentioned that the theme for this year Convention of the Church is “Calvary Verdict”.
According to him, calvary represents the suffering of the Lord Jesus, his death and burial.
The Presiding Pastor informed that if emphasy is on what happened to Jesus on Cross, life could have been better.
In an interview with Journalists, one of members of the Church, Deacon Adewoye Elijah Olusesan said ” if one removes calvary from his life, there is nothing in that life again”.
Adewoye said any man with calvary has everything in the world and any one without calvary has nothing.

He admonished people to make this year a turning point in their lives by ensuring that they retrace their steps and come back to God for them to be free from sins.
