Akire of Ikire-Ile congratulates Gov. Adeleke over Supreme Court victory

A prominent traditional ruler in Osun State, the Akire of Ikire-Ile, Ọba Abdulazeez Olatunbosun Adebamiji has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his victory at the Supreme Court.

The frontline monarch described the verdict of the Supreme Court as a welcome development which has hitherto brought an end to agitation for the leadership of the state.

The Akire of Ikire-Ile in his congratulatory message urged Governor Adeleke to continue with his pro masses oriented programmes, saying that the Governor has written his name with gold.

The message reads “I wish to felicitate Your Excellency on the validation of your victory at the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court verdict has finally corroborated the decision of the people of Osun State who overwhelmingly voted for you during the Osun State 2022 gubernatorial election. It is truly a decision that God has made.

“Now that you have been vindicated, I urge you to be magnanimous in victory and dedicate your entire administration to serving the citizens of the state.

“I like to use this opportunity to urge you, Your Excellency, to help in the construction of the Iwo/Ikire-Ile road to help revamp economic activities in my community.

“I also commend former Governor Isiaka Oyetola for accepting the court verdict with equinanimity, hoping that we shall all join hands with the present administration to take Osun State to greater heights.

“I pray that the state will continue to experience peace, tranquility and developments in all facets of life. May God give your administration an all-round success.

“May I also use this opportunity to wish Your Excellency, a happy birthday, long life and prosperity,” the monarch added.
