The Marafa Shonga and the APC Chieftain in Kwara State, Alhaji Abubakar Ndakene have donated valuable items worth millions of naira to the people of Shonga in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State to cushion the effect of the lingering hardship being confronted by people occasioned by the cash crunch
The leadership of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Edu local government have also received hundreds of decampees from People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.
Speaking to Journalists in Shonga, the Talban of Shonga and the state former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Abdullahi Umaru Sha’ba who was one of the important dignitaries at the event, expressed appreciation to Marafa Shonga for the gesture extended to the people .
Sha’aba who is also the National President, Shonga Emirate Descendants Union, said Kwarans particularly the people at the grassroot have always benefitted from the kind gestures of the APC leader at different times.
He however thanked the donor for his consistence efforts in ensuring better welfare ,and the development of the area.
He also solicited for the re-election of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. “voting Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for second term and other APC candidates would attract more developments, social investment programmes, viable development and sustainable economic growth to the Kwara state.
