VGN Promises to intensify security architecture in Kwara

The Kwara State Command of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) has reiterated commitment to continue to ensure security of lives and properties across the 16 Local Government Area of the state.

The association has also described the death of the father of the the present Governor of Kwara State, late Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Folorunsho AbdulRazaq AGF has a great loss to the entire country considering his contributions to Nigeria.

The Commander of the VGN, Mr Saadu Bolorunduro speaking in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, said the VGN the country needs the contributions of the late Elder State man to provide solutions to some of the problems facing the nation presently.

The VGN boss consoled Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and his entire family over the death of their father and husband.

Bolorunduro who also commended Governor AbdulRahma AbdulRazaq for the existing peace and harmony among groups and associations in the State, pledged to continue to support the Police to manage crimes in the State.

He informed that the VGN has always extend supports to all the security operatives in Kwara State to prevent break down of law and order. “We are not going to stop supporting the security agencies because we have realised that the support of all stakeholders very important “.

Mr Saadu also warned members of the association against taking laws into their hands, enjoined them to also hand over suspects to the security operatives for proper investigation and prosecution if need.

He However thanked Governor AbdulRazaq for his support for the VGN, promised that the VGN would always justify the confidence reposed in it by the Government and people of Kwara.
