The Agbamu community in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State has applauded Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq over the ongoing construction of Agbamu-Ila Road, declaring that it would boost inter-state connectivity upon completion.
The community added that the project would also improve the movement of goods and the people, and open up new economic opportunities for local farmers, traders, and commuters in the area.
In a statement issued in Ilorin on behalf of the ancient community, the Secretary, Arigbamu-in-Council, High Chief Bolare Jolayemi Adedoyin, said the rehabilitation of water project in Agbamu brought relief to the community, improved access to clean water and enhanced public health.
It noted that the intervention of the state government on schools in Onila and Agidingbi villages within the community had transformed them into ultra-modern learning centres.
The statement maintained that the government’s intervention uplifted the standard of education in the villages and restored hope to children who hitherto studied in deplorable conditions.

“Your administration’s transformation of the schools in our satellite villages, particularly Onila and Agidingbi, into ultra-modern learning centres, stands as proof of your visionary leadership. These projects have not only uplifted the standard of education in these areas but have also restored hope to children who once studied in deplorable conditions.
“We are equally grateful for the refurbishment of the giant water project in Agbamu. This singular act has brought immense relief to our people, improving access to clean water and thereby enhancing public health and daily living conditions across the community.
“Furthermore, we appreciate Your Excellency for the on-going Agbamu-Ila Road project. This infrastructural project is considered important given that, when completed, it will boost inter-state connectivity, improve the movement of goods and people, and open up new economic opportunities for our local farmers, traders, and commuters.
