IEUDI Sues For Peace Among Emirate Leaders

The Ilorin Emirate For Unity and Development Initiative (IEUDI) has called for peace among leaders in the Emirate.

The association stressed that Ilorin Emirate is widely regarded as Nigeria’s most peaceful city, nicknamed the “State of Harmony” and serves as a model for other states.

In a joint statement, IEUDI’s National President, Alhaji Moshood Lekan Salau, and National Secretary, Hon Abdullahi AbdulRauph AbdulSalam, commended the Emir of Ilorin, Maimartaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR, for his tireless efforts to promote peaceful coexistence among the leaders of the Emirate.

IEUDI urged the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq CON, to collaborate with the Emir in resolving disputes and promoting unity among leaders, particularly those holding honorary traditional titles.

The organization emphasized that peace and unity are essential for progress and development.

IEUDI however condemned attempts by some individuals to factionalize the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) led by Alhaji Uthman Olarewaju Jagunmo as the National President and called on youths to reject such divisive actions.

IEUDI sought Allah’s guidance and wisdom in fostering peace and unity among the Emirate’s leaders and people.
