Former SSA to Niger Governor, Hon Ganiyat Toyin, mourns Oyo APC Chair, Omodewu


The former Senior Special Assistant to Niger Governor on Enterprenurship Hon Adegbite Ganiyat Toyin has commiserated with members of her political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Oyo state, over the death of its Chairman, Barrister Isaac Omodewu.

She said the deceased was rallying point, symbol of unity, good pillar of strength and a beacon of dedication within the APC.

She described the APC Chairman’s passing away in the United States of America as a tragic event that has left the political community in Oyo State and beyond in mourning.

In a statement personally signed by Hon Ganiyat Toyin and made available to journalists. The woman who hailed from Irepo local Government of the state noted that Omodewu’s sudden death is a significant loss not only to the party but to the entire state, highlighting the vaccum left by his passing away.

The enterprenurship expert opined that his death came as a surprise to everyone, and this has indeed cast a shadow over the political scene in Oyo State her home state. She said as one of the major stakeholders in Oyo state’s politics, he will forever be missed,” Ganiyat said.

She stressed further that Barrister Isaac Omodewu was a distinguished leader whose commitment to the progress of Oyo State and the APC was unwavering. His demise is a devastating blow to all. She said she extended her deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and most especially, the leadership and members of the great party APC,during this difficult time.

The Security expert further urged the party members and supporters to remain united in this time of grief, emphasizing the importance of upholding the values and principles that the late chairman stood for.

Hon Ganiyat also called for prayers for the deceased’s family, asking for strength and comfort as they navigate this period of loss.

She described Barr. Omodewu’s legacy of service, dedication, and leadership as what will continue to inspire her and teeming party members. She said his memory will remain a guiding light as they all strive to continue the work he was so passionate about,
It could be recalled that the state Chairman of Oyo state passed away yesterday in USA at the age of 61 years May the Almighty God rest his soul in perfect peace and give the nuclear, extended and APC family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
