Agric workers get new executives in Osun


Osun State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Agriculture and Allied Employee (NUAAE) has elected new set of executives to pilot the affairs of the association.

The election was held on Monday, 20th May, 2024 at the state secretariat of the association along Gbongan/Ibadan road, Osogbo.

The election produced Comrade Ayegoro Taye as the new chairman of the association, Comrade Adelowo Adekunle as the Vice Chairman and Comrade Tomiwa Adelowo as the secretary of the association.

Others elected are Mobolaji Mary Akintunde as Women Coordinator, Odediran Abraham Olutayo (Welfare Officer), Isadare Olawale (Auditor), Taiwo Olayemi (Trustee),Odesanya Lasisi (Ex-Officio 1)and Clement Awowole (Ex-Officio 2).

The South West zonal Vice-chairman of the association, Comrade Bamigbola Kehinde who also attended the election pledged the support of the national leadership of the association for the new executives.

He charged the new executives to be focused and place the welfare of the members above their personal interest, just as he charged the new executives to be be guided by the constitution of the association in their day to day activities.

Speaking after taking the oath of office, the new chairman, Comrade Adelowo Adekunle promised to discharge his duties faithfully and carry all members of the association along in all that he does.

He assured members of the association of robust leadership, even as he solicited for their support and encouragement.
