NALVEJ Commiserates with Kwara Deputy Governor Over Mother’s Demise

Members of the National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ) in Kwara State have paid a condolence visit to the state’s deputy governor, Mr Kayode Alabi on the demise of his mother, Mrs Ena Alabi.

According to a statement signed by the League’s Publicity Secretary, Alh. Abdullahi Olesin, NALVEJ was led by the chairman of the league’s in the state, Alh Tunde Akanbi.

Mrs Ena Alabi died on Friday at the age of 98.

In a condolence message, Akanbi urged the deputy governor and the entire Alabi family to take solace in the fact that their late mother lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.

The NALVEJ chairman charged the deputy governor and his siblings to sustain the legacies of their late mother.

Two members of the delegation, Revd Felix Ajide and Pastor Tunde Bello offered special prayer for the bereaved.

They prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and the family she left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Other members of the delegation include the league’s secretary, Alhaji Mudasir Adewuyi and Prince Charles Osagie.

Responding, the immediate brother of the deputy Governor, Mr Dele Alabi thanked the veteran journalists for their love for the Alabi family and for solidarising with them over the demise of their matriarch.
