The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Ilorin, has advised the intending pilgrims to this year’s Hajj from Kwara State and non Kwarans to complete the payment of Hajj fare (N4.7m) before the deadline of Monday, January 12, 2024.
In a statement released from the office of the Executive Secretary, Alh Abdulsalam Abdulkadir on Sunday (January 4, 2024) and made available to the newsmen, the Secretary disclosed that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Abuja had fixed Hajj Fares for Kwara State for Four Million and seven Hundred thousand naira only (4,700,000).
“In view of this, I advise all the intending Pilgrims to quickly comply with the new directive by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and complete the payment of Hajj fare before the deadline of Monday 12 February, 2024” he said.
The statement added that those who have already deposited the sum of N3.5 million should also complete their balance on time before the deadline to enable the commission meet up with the payment deadline in Saudi Arabia which is fast approaching.
