The management, staff and students of the Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU) on Tuesday (December 5, 2023) joined the whole world to mark this year edition of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The special occasion which had all the institution’s principal officers in attendance, was organised by the Department of Special Education.
Highlights of the event included the presentation of short drama by students of the department with various degrees of impairments, musical entertainment by students of School for Special Need, Ilorin, counselling session by the invited persons with disabilities, and presentations of awards to various personalities in attendance including the Ag. Vice Chancellor, Professor Shaykh Luqman Jimoh,other principal officers.
