Kwara State University has promoted three of its staff to professorial status after the ratification of their qualification for the position.
The statement signed by the varsity public relations official, Dr (Mrs) Saeedat Aliyu, confirmed the qualification of Suleiman Sheu Adua as Professor of Islamic History, Abdulwahab Jamiu Elesin as the Professor of Islamic Law, and Stephen Olufemi Afolabi as the Professor of Educational Management.
According to the statement, the school’s acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman felicitated them and urged them to bring renewed vigour to the tasks of teaching, research and community development.
He said, “I charged the new appointee to rededicate themselves to their primary duties and bring top-notch contributions for the advancement of the institution.”
