President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been commended for appointing the pioneer chairman of Economic and Finace Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as National Security Adviser (NSA).
The Director General of Micheal Imoudu National Institute for LABOUR Studies, MINILS, Issa Aremu, gave the commendation in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital during a chat with newsmen on the sidelines of the 2023 Ilorin Emirate Durbar.
Aremu explained that the choice of Mallam Ribadu as the nation NSA is a right step in a right direction.
According to him, “this is a renewed hope among Nigerians that the security sector reform initiated by former President Muhammadu Buhari would be further deepened”.
While congratulating Mallam Ribadu as the 10th country NSA, MINILS boss explained that Mallam Ribadu is eminently qualified for the job of advising the President on national security matters in view of vast experience in security related matters.
“As a member 2008 Senior Executive Course ( SEC 30) of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies ( NIPPS) Kuru Jos, Mallam Ribadu was sufficiently exposed to the tasks of building a better Nigeria.”
“He is also politically tested to know that what is at stake is renewed Hope for secured lives and properties for Nigeria and Nigerians,” Comrade Aremu said.
It would be recalled that Mallam Ribadu was on 19th June, 2023 appointed as National Security Adviser by President Ahmed Tinubu.
