Kwara MPWB visits new Amiru-Hajj

The Management of Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (MPWB) on Wednesday (May 17, 2023) paid a courtesy visit to the Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Umar Bologi II who is the newly appointed Amirul-Hajj for the year 2023 Hajj exercise. 

The revered monarch was appointed two days ago by the Governor of Kwara State, Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The team, according to a statement signed by the Board PRO, Jimoh Falilat Jumoke,was led by the Board Chairman, Dr. Abdulkadir Sambo Zambaqi and rhe Executive Secretary Alh Abdulsalam Abdulkadir.

The Board Chairman, Dr. Abdulkadir Sambo Zambaqi in his opening remark congratulated his Royal Highness on his appointment as the Amirul Hajj for the year 2023 Hajj as he will lead a total of 3,740 intending Pilgrims from Kwara State to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Hos Royal Highness Etsu Patigi expressed his satisfaction with the board and its preparation so far, while describing the visit as timely. 

He stated that he was overwhelmed to receive the Board Chairman, and his entourage in his palace.

Estu. Patigi thanked His Excellency the Governor of Kwara State, Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the appointment and promised not to betray the confidence the governor reposed in him.

He also prayed for continued God’s guidance for the State Government under the leadership of Governor AbdulRazaq 

Alh Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, the executive secretary gave the details of the summary reports on how far the the Board has gone in preparing for the 2023 Hajj Operation in the State.
