KWASU wins 12.5m TETFund Research Grant

Researchers from Kwara State University, Malete, have won the sum of twelve and a half (12.5m) million Naira of National Research fund from Tetfund.

Professor Olawale Mashood Aliyu, the institution’s Director of Center for Research and Development, presented the notification letter to the University Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, on monday (April 17, 2023).

The letter presented to the Acting Vice-Chancellor was signed by the Executive Secretary of TETFund, Arch. Sonny T. Echono, revealed that the grant was awarded under the 2021 NRF intervention.

The letter stated that, the research should be conducted by the Researchers team led by Dr. Olayinke Jelil Yusuff, with the title “Influence of Cultural and Demographic Attributes on the Spread and Containment of Coronavirus Pandemic in Nigeria“.
