Comrade Aremu advises political office holders on national growth

As Nigerians troopped out to exercise their constitutional rights of electing candidates of their choice, the Director General of Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS) Comrade Issa Aremu mni has called on those that will be voted in to various offices to use their good positions to put smiles on the faces of the masses.

Comrade Aremu urged the current and incoming political office holders not to rest on their oars until  they guarantee growth and development in the country.


Addressing journalists shortly after he cast his vote at Unit 06, Alapata, in Baboko ward of Ilorin West Local Government Area of kwara state, Comrade Aremu appealed to those that will eventually win the poll to put the interest of Nigeria first.


“Those voted into office must guarantee growth and development. They must put an end to poverty and come up with policies and programmes that will add value to national growth and development” he said.

He described Nigeria as a country that is endowed with both human and natural resources, saying that our leaders have no excuse not to convert our rich resources to people oriented projects.

He however commended the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his message in his recently delivered speech where he said all Nigerians, irrespective of tribal, religious or political affiliations, will be treated within principle of justice and equality.
