KWASU commiserates with Akanbi family

Acting Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Prof. Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh has commiserated with the Akanbi Oniyo family over the demise of Alhaji Abdulhakeem Ajibola Akanbi, the elder brother of the late Vice-Chancellor of KWASU, Prof. Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN.

Alhaji Abdulhakeem Ajibola Akanbi, who was the the first son of the late Jurist, Hon. Justice Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi died in the early hours of Saturday March 4, 2023 in his residence in Abuja.

Professor Jimoh, in a statement signed by the Acting Director, University Relations, Dr Saeedat Aliyu and made available to newsman, described the news of Alhaji Akanbi’s death as painful added that the country has lost an illustrious citizen.

While praying on behalf of the Council, Management, Staff and Students of the University that Allah would forgive the sins of the late Alhaji Akanbi, Professor Jimoh also beseeched Allah to comfort the immediate and extended family of the deceased.

Alhaji Abdulhakeem Akanbi was until his death the Director Special Duties, Court of Appeal, Abuja.
