The Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazak has declared Friday (February 24, 2023) work-free day for all the State Civil Servants.
This was contained in a statement issued by the State Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole and signed by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Office of the Head Of Service (OHOS), Mr Muritala Atoyebi.
The break, according to the statement, is to enable the State Workers travel down to their respective polling areas to actively participate in the Presidential election holding on Saturday (February 5, 2023).
Mrs Oluwole therefore admonished all citizens of the State, particularly the Civil Servants, to perform their civil responsibility during the electioneering period without any acrimony.
