Organs: Professor Akanji and Science in the Holy Qur’an

The Tongue is a good illustration of the absoluteness of Allah,  as the Lord of Creation (Q 55 v 3). The anatomy and composition of the tongue is the same for all humans, yet it vocalizes sound  that differ from region to region and culture to culture around the world  (Q 59 v 24).

As if that is not enough, the tongue of the same person can also vocalize several languages (Q 57 v 3). For example, Kofi Anan a one time Secretary General of UN, was able to speak not less than 7 languages with his tongue.

It follows therefore that the composition of tongue has nothing to do with different languages spoken around the world. Only Allah, our creator enables the functionality of his creation ( Q 44 v 38). Is this not enough to concentrate  on worship of Allah as a token of our appreciation for His favour on us, His creation? ###

Allah, the Creator of ALL Forms, is the supreme source of Knowledge! The pursuit and acquisition of knowledge through education and experience are some of the unique human attributes enabled by the Creator (Q 35 v 28).

Allah has provided His creations with instruments with which to perform duties assigned to them. Allah created Brain Cells which is the Command Centre of all body activities, to be very soft and fragile, but encased them in a very hard skull; Kidney which filters water from blood, is provided with long tubes to enable reabsorption of filtered water to prevent dehydration; Liver is provided with extensive blood supply to evacuate metabolites so as to deliver such to appropriate places; Erythrocyte is provided with heamoglobin to transport oxygen and carbon dioxide throughout the body; Leucocyte is enriched with destructive enzymes to fight invaders (Q 17 v 85).

Is Allah not magnificent in creation and therefore worthy of worship (Q 6 v 117)? Worship Allah fervently to show appreciation. ###
