The Chairman of Sidmach Technologies, Engineer Hassan Alao, has advocated for the advancement of Osun State economy through the improvement of rural infrastructure in the state.
Alao, who is also the President of Erin-Osun Progressive Union, made this charge recently at the Erin Day celebration where he also called attention of the state government to the awful state of the link-road between Erin-Osun and Ede.
Also equally appealed to the government to make it a priority saying that“I want to seize this opportunity to draw the attention of our dear governor to the deplorable condition of the six kilometer road linking our communities with Ede town.
“I therefore appeal to the state government to Consider as a matter of priority, the rehabilitation of this road. This road after rehabilitation will surely impact positively on the economy of our people”, he said.
Meanwhile at a reception ceremony organised by Erin-Osun Progressive Union under the Presidency of Engineer Alao to celebrate two illustrious son of Erin-Osun namely, renowned professor of Arabic Education and Islamic cleric, Prof. Abdul Ganiy Abdul Salaam Oladosu, and Special Adviser to the incumbent Governor of Osun State on Environment and Sanitation, Hon. Rufus Adeyemi Oyegbile, Engineer Hassan stated that the honour was not just for what they have done, but what the town wants the duo to do.
Engineer Hassan who is also the Aare Musulumi of Erin-Osun said that the reception ceremony was their way of telling the Prof. Oladosu, that they await his return to Erin-Osun, as he is only retired not tired.
The Asiwaju of Erin-Osun also expressed the pride of the town in the fact that an indigene of Erin-Osun, Engineer Rufus Oyegbile is part of the executive council of the incumbent Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola.
“We are proud that today, we have a son of the soil in the cabinet of the current Governor of Osun State”, he said.
