KWASU VC commiserates with Professor Na’Allah over death of his mother

The Vice-Chancellor of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi  SAN, has commiserated with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, Professor Abdulrasheed Na’Allah over the death of his mother, Hajia Balkees Ayinke Na’Allah Gold.


Hajia Gold died in Ilorin, the Kwara state Capital on Sunday (June 7, 2020) at the ripe age of 90 years after a brief illness.


Professor Akanbi, in a condolence letter personally signed by him, consoled the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of KWASU, Professor Na’Allah over the demise of our beloved mother and thanked Allah that mama lived a glorious and fulfilled life.

“It was with rude shock that I received the news about the passing on of your dear mother, Hajia Balkees Ayinke Na’Allah, and I wish to express my deepest condolence, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management and staff of the Kwara State University, Malete”


“I commiserate with you Sir on this sad loss. It would be difficult to measure the impact she has had in the lives of many people she had touched personally, but it is evident that mama lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation and I want you to take solace in the fact that she left a good legacy of being a virtuous mother, wife and a woman that gave her all for the sound upbringing of her children.


“Please accept my condolences to you and your family for this great loss”.


Professor Akanbi beseeched Almighty Allah to be pleased with her soul and overlook all her human mistakes and admit her into Aljannah Firdaos.


The statement also prayed Allah to grant Professor Na’Allah and the entire members of the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The janazat, according to the spokesperson of the family, will come up today, Monday, June 8, 2020 at Ile-Golu, Ita-Ogunbo, Ilorin by 10:00 am prompt.
