The Ilorin Emirate for Unity and Development Initiative (IEUDI) has felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Council of Chiefs, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari over his 80th birthday.
The IEUDI, in a statement signed by its Secretary General, Hon. AbdulRauph AbdulSalam, described the number one traditional ruler in kwara state as a foremost legal luminary and astute adminitarator whose reign has witnessed tremendous achievements and spectacular breakthroughs all over the Emirate.
The association thanked God for endowing the Emir of Ilorin with a great opportunity to live an exemplary life paved with records of uncommon success stories as the 11th Emir of Ilorin.
The statement added that Ilorin Emirate and it’s environs have been witnessing an enduring peace, unity and prosperous society occasioned by his good leadership quality and humane character to all his objects in the state and beyond.
The association particularly appreciated the Emir for his proactive approach to raise funds to support the people of Ilorin Emirate during this hard period of Covid19, describing his swift intervention as very apt, supportive and worthwhile.
It therefore thanked God for his life and tremendous achievements he has recorded as the Emir of Ilorin, and prayed God in His infinite mercy to grant him more successes and elongate his life with sound health and perfect wisdom to be able to continuously and peacefully pilot the affairs of the Emirate.
The association said today, April 22nd, 2020, marks the 80th birthday of the Emir and described the date as a significant landmark not only in the life of the Emir but also to the entire Ilorin Emirate.End
