The Minister of State Transportation, Mrs Gbemisola Ruqayyat Saraki has been commended for her good eadership style and politics of inclusion she is exhibiting as a political office holder in the corridor of power in Nigeria.
The Balogun Gambari Youth Movement (BAGYUM) gave the commendation in a statement signed by it’s President, Suleiman Sakariyah, and made available to journalists in Ilorin, saying that her impact is greatly being felt as one of the leading figures in the state and the country in general.
The association particularly gave kudos to the kwara born Minister of state for Transportation, Senator Saraki over the role she played in the appointment of Hon Hassan Razaq (Bamu) as a member in the Governing Board of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
The association commended President Muhammadu Buhari and Senator Gbemisola Saraki for looking inward in making sure that respected people in the society are considered for political appointments.
It described the appointment of Hon Razaq as a round peg in a round hole, considering his vast experience and humane character which he is known for across Gambari District and the whole state in general.
The President explained that BAGYUM is a Non Governmental Organisation in Gambari District covering GambariI, Gambari I’ll, Ibagun and Zango wards of Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The association was confident that His Razaq would bring his experience into bear in the running and effective management of NIMASA being a member of the agency’s Governing Board
The association however advised him to discharge his official duties to the point of effectiveness so as to justify the confidence reposed on him by the government so that he would remain a good ambassador of Gambari District, Kwara state, and Nigeria in general.
