The Balogun Gambari Youth Movement (BAGYUM) has praised President Muhammadu Buhari over the appointment of Hon Hassan Razaq (Bamu) as a member in the Governing Board of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
The association in a statement signed by it’s President, Suleiman Zakariyah, and made available to journalists in Ilorin, described the appointment of Hon Razaq as a step in a right direction.
The movement particularly commended President Buhari for the choice of Hon Razaq as a member of Governing Board of NIMASA, saying that the appointment is well deserved.
“President Muhammadu Buhari deserves commendation for appointing people of proven integrity in various positions of leadership in the country. That bold step accounts for tremendous growth and development in the country” the statement said.
The BAGYUM, which is a Non Governmental Youth Organisation in Gambari District of Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State, also lauded the leadership quality of Kwara state Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The association described the appointee, Hon Razaq, as an illustrious son of the state, who has been doing everything humanly possible to keep the flag of the state and his community fly.
The association expressed confident that his involvement in NIMASA as a member of the agency’s Governing Board, would add more value to the agency and Nigeria as a whole.
The BAGYUM however advised Hon Razaq to bring his vast experience into bear while discharging his official duties so as to justify the confidence reposed in him by the Federal Government and to also serve as a good ambassador of Kwara state and Gambari District in particular.End
