Comrade Issa Aremu mni has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for signing Executive Orders 009 and 003 which seek to eradicate open defecations and promoting made in Nigeria goods in the country respectively.
Aremu, who is the Vice Chairman of the Global IndustriAll Union, also commended the President’s bold decision on border closure, saying that the policy will boost local production of materials and eradicate poverty through the provision of job opportunities for the nation’s unemployed youths.
Aremu spoke with newsmen shortly after donating a twin- toilet facility to Junior Secondary School, Ayegun- Araromi in Asa local government area of Kwara state, as part of activities marking the International Women’s Day.
The front line labour leader said he donated the toilet facility to compliment both the federal and state government’s efforts at eradicating open defecations in the country.
Aremu, who was the Labour Party Governorship Candidate during the 2019 General Elections in Kwara State, observed that Executive Orders 009 and 003 signed by President Buhari are bold steps geared towards eradicating open defecations and improving the nation’s economy respectively.
