Barely three days to the change of government in kwara state, the ‘AA Volunteera Group in kwara state’ has organised a special prayer to usher in new political government in the state.

A G F Abdulrasaq, the farher of the Governor-elect, Surulere area, Ilorin, also featured a special prayer to commemorate the birthday ceremony of the mother of the Governor-elect, Hajia Raliat Abdulrasaq.
Speaking during the prayer session on saSaturd (May 25, 2019) the Chairman of ‘A A Volunteer Group, Alhaji Ahmed Bello Olohundare explained that the prayer was targeted at seeking for divine intervention for the peaceful change of power and a successful take off of the Governor-elect, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Abdurasaq led administration in kwara state.
Alhaji Olohundare added that the second fold of the prayer was to commemorate the birthday of the mother of the Governor-elect, Hajia Raliat Abdulrasaq.
The chairman of the group said the efficacy of prayer cannot be overlooked in all our private and public life and expressed confidence that everything that seems impossible can be made possible with power of prayers.
He called on the House of Assembly-elect members and many other people that will form the state cabinet to cooperate with the Governor-elect, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq, and give him maximum support needed to pilot the affairs of the state to an enviable height.
Commenting on the birthday of the mother of the Governor-elect, Hajia Raliat Abdulrasaq, Alhaji Olohundare thanked God for preserving Hajia Raliat Abdulrasaq and her husband, Lawyer Abdulganiyy Funsho Abdulrasaq, to reap the fruit of their labour and prayed God to continue to enlogate their lives and grant them sound health.
Also speaking on the sideline of the ocassion, one of the leading politicians in the state, Alhaji Mashood Aigoro congratulated the Governor-elect, Alhaji Abdulrahaman, members and suporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state over their landslide victory during last general elections.
He prayed God to be the compass of Alhaji Abdulrahaman Abdurasaq led administration in the state so as to justify the confidence reposed on him by the kwarans.
The prayer session was led by Ustadh Abdulmumeen Issa and attenby notable Islamic clerics from Ilorin, political bigwigs from the state, family dreinds and admirers of the Abdulrasaq family among others.
