A candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ilorin South Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Abdulazeez Hassan Oluwanilo has assured the people of the constituency of qualitative representation if elected in the next general elections.
Oluwanilo gave the assurance in Ilorin while speaking at a special prayer organized for the realization of his political ambition.
The programme featured inauguration of Advance Team and Special Duty Committee to ensure his success in the forthcoming general elections.
The 14-man committee has Mr Ogunfuyi Saliu Abiodun from Okeogun ward and Nurudeen Abdulkareem from Akanbi lll as the Chairman and Secretary of the committee.
Oluwanilo said he was in race to bridge the gap of qualitative representation which the people of his constituency had been suffering over the years.
He promised to initiate bills that would had values to the well-being of the people of the constituency.
He urged the people of the constituency to vote massively for him and other candidates of APC, assuring that they would not regret of voting for them.
The statement urged the committee members to justify the confidence reposed on them by ensuring his victory through door-to-door campaign.
Speaking with our reporter on his appointment, the chairman of the committee, Mr Ogunfuyi Saliu Abiodun promised the committee’s commitment to embark on issue based campaign rather than character assassination.
He said the committee would woo electorates in Ilorin South local government through door-to-door campaign.
Saliu disclosed that the campaign activities for Hon Oluwanilo which commenced with the prayer session, was to seek for Allah’s help for his success.
The prayer session was held at Oluwanilo campaign office, Agric Area, old Jebba road, Ilorin, had the Director General for Oluwanilo Campaign Organization, Aiki Subair Sulu Gambari; Deputy D.G, Babatunde Popoola Abdulkareem; Secretary, Arikeuyo Tajudeen and Director of Administration, Hon. Ameen Abdulrasaq among other dignitaries in attendance.
