The Yeye Oge of Ogun state, Alhaja Yetunde Bakare has called on all stakeholders in the political process to put in their best in ensuring a peaceful conduct of the next year’s general elections.
Alhaja Yetunde made the call while speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta the Ogun state capital, saying the political tension in the country was worrisome.
Alhaja Yetunde, who is the founder of the Yeye Oge Political Vanguard however, appealed to all candidates at various positions to carry out peaceful campaign rally, and ensure that their supporters were not involved in any form of political thuggery.
According to her, election should not be a do or die affair as the peace and security of the country remains the top priority of all.
She said Nigerians need to be healthy and educated to stand the chances of developing all the sectors of the economy in the nation.
Alhaja Yetunde also implored all supporters and parties followers to continue to be law abiding citizens to promote peaceful coexistence in the country.
