As Muslim faithfuls celebrate Eid-kabir today, Nigerians regardless of their religion differences have again been told to have the love of the Country at heart and exhibit good habit that would facilitate even development of the Nation.
A Cross-section of Traditional Rulers in Kwara State made this known in their Eid-kabir messages to the people.
According to the Vice Chairman of the State Traditional Council, Alhaji lbrahim Chatta Umar this would enable them to demonstrate the lessons of the period which signify assisting the needy through sharing with the masses.
Alhaji Chatta Umar who is the Estu Patigi implored the people to be God fearing and shun acts that could hamper developmental agenda of the government.
In his message, the Chairman Ekiti Traditional Council and the Olosi of Osi, Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku the first advised the people to imbibe the teachings of the celebration as preached by the Holy Quran as their guilding principles.
The Oloyo-Ipo of Eggi Oyoipo in Irepodun Local Government Area of the State, Oba Abdulwahab Adeoye Jinad urged political office seekers to look unto God for divine direction from God and shun politics of bitterness as the next year general election is fast approaching.
Also, the Olowu of Owu Obaloyan in ifelodun Local Government Area of the State, Oba kamorudeen Ajiboye Sanni Agunleyinju the second emphasised the need for traditional and religious heads not to relent in sensitising their subjects on the need to be good citizen for the development of the State.
The Onigbesi of Igbesi in Isin Local Government Area of the State, Oba Moses Omotayo Oyinloye Ewedunmoye the first appealed to Nigerians to see themselves as one big family and embrace peace to ensure the development of the State and the Nation.
