Rehoboth Royal Covenant Int’l Church marks 11th convention with glee and salvation 

The Senior Pastor of the Rehoboth  Royal Covenant International Assembly Church, Kulende Ilorin, Pastor Bola Payimo has described the church’s 18 years of existence as very eventful and with full of spectacular spiritual achievements.

Pastor Payimo who rolled out the church’s rising profile especially in the areas of spiritual engagements, said God has been using the ministry to execute physical and social assistance to the people in the society,

The cleric made this known yesterday shortly after the closing of a 5-day convention of the Church held between 2nd and 6th of May, 2018.
 
Pastor Payimo said God has been moving the ministry from grace to grace and glory to glory, adding that the good testimonies among the members and growing number of branches across the country are evidently very amazing.
He disclosed that this year edition of the convention marked the church’s 11th convention, pointing out that God has been very helpful and supportive to the ministry with myraid of spiritual achievements year in year out.
 
Speaking on the theme of this year’s convention,  “The dawn of a new beginning “, Pastor Payimo said God revelation determines the choice of the topic of the church’s convention every year.
The man of God revealed that this year theme of the convention was very apt and worthwhile, saying that Nigeria needs new dawn at this trial period to be able to move the country to the promised land using the efficacy of prayer as a potent platform.
He said the focus of the church has been strictly to finding pamanent solution to the people’s  social and spiritual challenges.
 
“God has kept us alive from the past 18 years of the existence of the church and He has been very faithful to us as a ministry and this 11th convention programme was very successful and eventful ” he said.
Speaking on the church’s social contributions and empowerment programmes for the less privileged members, the senior pastor of the church revealed that the church was running a school in addition with monthly donation of huge amount of money to the widows.
 
On the state of the country’s security architecture, the man of God said Nigeria security apparatus has to be reviewed and revamped to guarantee safety of lives and property of the populace.
He, however, attributed the spontenous attacks of some men of God by hoodlums to the high level of ostentatious life some men of God live,  saying that the utterances of some men of God actually attracts these hoodlums.
He called on Nigerians to be more security conscious, adding that “we should be more security conscious and be more sensitive, if we are security conscious, the ongoing societal evil will be ultimately averted”.
He said the more righteous owe appear as a people in the society the more prosperous the society becomes.
 
Pastor Payimo therefore called on Nigerians to see themselves as brothers keepers and work towards promoting and encouraging virtues that will promote social cohesion and social order in order to have a united, peaceful and prosperous nation.
