A former Senator of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim has passed away.
Senator Rafiu who was an ally of the former Governor of Kwara State and former Senate president of Nigeria, Dr Bukola Saraki served in the 8th National Assembly of Nigeria.
He served until 2019 when he lost his bid to return to the upper legislative chamber.
Rafiu reportedly died in the early hours of Wednesday after battling with an undisclosed illness for months.
