The All Progressive Youth Forum (APYF), has urged the Nigerian president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to secure two ministerial slots for Kwara State in view of the notable performance of the State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the just concluded general elections.

The group said this amid the battle of cabinet positions in the administration of the president-elect. The battle (cabinet position) is getting tough every day as we draw-closer to May 29 (inauguration day).

Though, the group is trying to protect its two seats.

However, the coordinator of All Progressive Youth Forum (APYF), Mr. Tunde Salahu, insisted that all appointments responsible to the state should base on merit, commitment and loyalty.

It would be recalled that, Kwara State has two sitting Ministers serving under the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari; Lai Mohammed CON, the Minister of Information and Culture, and Gbemisola Ruqayyah Saraki, the Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development.
