A frontline theatre Director and foremost dramatist, Prof. Femi Osofisan has called on expanded management and the entire staff of the Crown Hill University to accord the new Vice Cnancellor of the institution, Prof Jeleel Olasunkanmi Ojuade, with full support needed to turn around the fortunes of the University.
Prof. Osofisan made the appeal during his visit to the institution, saying that with adequate support of all and sundry in the institution, the new Vice Chancellor will take the institution to the next level
Osofisan, who is a frontline actor, critic, poet, novelist, and columnist described the new Vice Chancellor of the Crown Hill University, Prof. Ojuade as a young, vibrant, forward thinking and highly connected person who has been making waves in his chosen career.
He advised Prof. Ojuade to provide an exemplary leadership to move the University into global reckoning.
Osofisan whose timing of his vist was conicided with the time an expanded Management meeting of Crown Hill University was underway, congratulated the management, staff and students of the CHU for having the kind of Prof. Ojuade as the Vice Chancellor of their institution.
The visit gave Prof. Osofisan ample opportunity to meet with Prof S. I.O. Ojo, the Dean of Sciences at CHU, with whom he had attended the same secondary school.
The visit was a cocktail of co – incidences for both Professor Osofisan and the new Vice – Chancellor, Prof. Ojuade.
Professor Osofisan’s first visit to Ilorin this year happened to be Prof Ojuade’s first day in office after his Inaguration on Monday 23rd January 2023.
In his comment, the CHU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ojuade thanked Prof. Osofisan for paying him a visit after assumption of duty, saying that his visit is an inspiration, and motivation.
