KWASU congratulates new Tertiary Education commissioner

The Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN has felicitated with the newly appointed commissioner of Tertiary Education, Dr Afeef Abolore Alabi.

The Vice Chancellor who, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of the institution, rejoiced with the commissioner, described his appointment as a step in the right direction.

The University in a statement signed by the Ag. Director of University Relations, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, and made available to newsmen in the state, also commended  the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, for appointing an experienced administrator to head the Tertiary Education Ministry in the state.

“As a University which innovates for the advancement of humanity as exemplified in our slogan of “the green university for community development and entrepreneurship,” KWASU remains committed to the goal of producing total graduates and contributing to the development of the State and nation. 

“It is our sincere prayer that Allah guides Dr. Afeez Abolore Alabi to excel in this appointment” the statement read in part.
