The Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of Michael Imoudu National Institute of Labour Studies (MINILS) Comrade Issa Aremu mni has felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari on the occasion of his 26th on the throne as the Emir of Ilorin.
Comrade Aremu described every 11th of November as a significant and remarkable date in the life of the Emir and the entire people of Ilorin Emirate and kwara state as a whole, being a date the respected Emir, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari was made the 11th Emir of Ilorin 26 years ago.
“The Institute congratulates His Royal Highness for the steady transformations occurring in Ilorin as his rein on the throne reaches the significant milestone of 26 glorious years. The peaceful atmosphere prevailing in the City of Ilorin and Kwara State at large loudly and eloquently testify to the Emir’s statesmanship, committed and purposeful leadership, uprightness, qualitative diplomacy and his fear of Allah.”
“MINILS appreciates the Emir’s pristine warmth and ambience in the various occasions the Institute’s guests had been taken to pay him homage at the prestigious palace.”
“Under my headship, the Institute would stay focused to regain its position as the preferred destination for workers education and labour studies both locally and internationally. Doing so, we shall place much importance on being guided by a deep sense of duty and giving due cognizance to the promotion and realization of the essence and values that defines the amazing rein of our dear Mai Martaba of Ilorin” the statement read in part.
On behalf of the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr. Festus Keyamo, SAN, the Chairman and members of MINILS’ Governing Council, and the Management and Staff, I Comrade Issa Aremu, Director-General/Chief Executive Officer hereby congratulate our Royal Father, the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, on this epoch making occasion of the 26th years of his rein on the throne of the formidable Sheik Shehu Alimi, the progenitor of the world renown Alimi Dynasty.
He prayed that may all glory and appreciation be accorded to Almighty Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Beneficent for granting our amiable Emir, the 11th Emir of Ilorin and the Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers, in good health, and grace to witness and contribute actively to the rapid growth of Ilorin Emirate as a hub for commerce, industry, education and hospitality in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
