Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Barr Ismail Yahaya Alebiosu

The Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Yahaya Alebiosu, has lauded the sterling leadership of the Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Professor Muhammed Mustapaha Akanbi SAN, describing him as a pride to the country’s education sector.
Oba Alebiosu gave the commendation at the weekend when he paid a visit to the Vice Chancellor in his official residence, in Ilorin, saying that his concerted efforts at making KWASU a world-class University is gradually yielding positive outcome.
The Monarch, who is also a very senior lawyer, said Professor Akanbi’s array of legacy projects coming on board suggest that the institution will compete favourably with its counterparts across the globe.
Oba Alebiosu urged the KWASU boss to continue with the good works and sustain the tempo so as to realize his good dreams for the University.
The Olupo of Ajase- Ipo, pledged his unalloyed support in taking KWASU to the next level of development.
In his response, Professor Akanbi appreciated the Monarch for finding time to pay him a visit, just as he used the forum to congratulate him on his recent ascendance to the throne of his forefathers.
He commended the state Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, for appointing a young, dynamic, vibrant and a God fearing person as the new Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, expressing confidence that his reign would usher in more good tidings for the town and Kwara in general.
He described his choice as a step in the right direction considering his antecedents as a Lawyer, and more importantly his community-based contributions even before he became the Oba.
