FOMWAN mourns Kwara pioneer Grandkhadi

The National Amirah of the Federation of Muslim Women Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN),Hajia Halimah jibril, has described the first Grandkhadi of Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, late Justice Abdulkadir Orire as a Patron and strong pillar of FOMWAN.

Hajia Jibril, in a condolence message, described also late Orire as a true scholar and astute jurist who lived his entire life for service to God and Humanity.

She said FOMWAN has lost another Patron and erudite Islamic scholar of note,  sayjng that the deceased’s contributions to the promotion and propagation of Islam in Kwara,  Nigeria and beyond were very enormous and impactful.

Hajia Jibril added that the FOMWAN and the  entire Muslim Ummah will sorely  missed his good leadership role, his sincerity of purpose and humane character.

She prayed Almighty Allah to grant him Al jannat fridaos and console the family  he left. 

Late Justice Abdulkadir Orire, who was the Sarki Malami and Marafa Ilorin, died on Tuesday (January 26, 2021) in Ilorin and he would be buried in accordance with Islamic injunction on Wednesday (January 27, 2021) by 10 am prompt  at his residence, No 2, Tafawa Balewa street, G.R.A Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
