NAPPMED President, Alhaji Abdulwahab Ajibola
The President of Nigerian Association of Patent and Proprietary Medicine Dealers (NAPPMED), Kwara State branch, Alhaji Abdul-Wahab Jimoh Ajibola is to be conferred with a merit award of ‘Musahid-Din’ (Oluranlowo-Esin) by an Ilorin-based Islamic organization ‘Ibrahim Islamic Center’.
The honour, according to the organisers is in recognition of Alhaji Ajibola’s sterling contributions to the promotion and propagation of Islam within and outside the state.
Also to be honoured along side with the kwara state NAPMED President is the General Manager of Al-Barka Fm, a fastest growing private radio station in the state, Dr Abdulrasheed Adigun Olaosebikan.
The turban ceremony, according to the organizers of the event, will hold on Sunday (January 12, 2020) at Ibrahim Islamic Center Central Mosque, Obbo road, off Unity road, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital beginning by 10:am prompt.
Alhaji Ajibola has served community and Islam in various capacities and has bagged various merit awards in recognition of his valuable contributions to serving God and humanity.
He is a recipient of many Islamic awards among which is ‘Agbesinga Adini’ that was conferred on him by Al-Fatihu-Quoreeb Islamic organization, Zango Wing Ilorin, which he bagged on September, 23rd 2016.
Alhaji Ajibola is also the co-founder of Islam for Progress Initiatives (IPI) established in 2005 and acted as IPI secretary between 2006 and 2012 and is currently the IPI Public Relations Officer (PRO) from 2012 till date.
He is also the Chairman of Awareness Initiative for Good Living (AIGL), a leading Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with focus on family planning and the creation of good living for women within the reproductive age in the country.
The Chief Host of the occasion is Sheikh Shuayb Abdulsalam Imam Maraba; the Host is Sheikh Sulaiman Kasandubu, the Chief Imam of the Ibrahim Islamic Center Mosque; while the spiritual father of the Day is Sheikh Uthman Sulyman Erubu (Zaynul Awliyyah).
The guest lecturer is Ustadh Abdulwaheed Ajinikirun who is going to speak on the theme “Who is Prophet Muhammad”; Alhaji Mudathir Oyekanmi Abdulsalam is expected to Chair the occasion; the father of the day is Alhaji Ibrahim Yusuf Omoadua; while the Mother of the day is Alhaja Omomeji Aladie.
