Group organizes prayer to welcome Saraki

A political group on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ABS Human Rights Ambassador Forum, has organized a special prayer in honour of the immediate Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki following his successful completion of his tenure in office.

The prayer session which was held at Bolanta House, Offa Road, G.R.A, Ilorin, attracted party loyalists and supporters including elders, youths, women, associations and groups among others.

The Chairman of the group in Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Tajudeen Raji Areesaid the prayer was organized to appreciate God for His guidance and protection on Dr Bukola Saraki through his tenure in office as Nigerian Senate President.

He described the tenure of Senator Saraki, as the Senate President, as eventful and impactful due to his leadership acumen in strengthening legislative arm of government.

The Youth Leader particularly appreciated Senator Saraki’s contributions to the development of the state and the country at large especially while he was the Governor of the Kwara State for eight years and Senate president for four years.

He called on the members and supporters of PDP to continue to support ex- senate president, saying that “our stolen mandate would soon be regained in no distance time”.

He appreciated the stakeholders who have contributed to success of the programme especially those that registered their presence.

The prayer session was led by Imam Abdulrazaq Aduagba and Uztaz Uthman Sanu Shehu.

The scholars used the occasion to advise the congregation to always appreciate God in whatever condition they might find themselves.
